SCRW Hosts Annual Ellen Lanier Fashion Show

MaryAnn Riley and Spartanburg County Auditor Sharon West really outdid themselves this year planning the Fashion Show.  We were taken on a tour of fashion history with commentary by that fashion maven, Hedda Hopper, and then were treated to more modern fair.

The Spartanburg County Republican Women also give out 2 awards at this annual luncheon .  Our Republican Woman of the Year for 2009 is Sarah Broyles, former county auditor, and tireless volunteer.  Freddie Wilson was recognized for her lifetime achievement (so far!) for everything she does. 

And LaDonna Ryggs, new Spartanburg County Chairman, received an honor from the Women’s House Caucus for her dedication and achievement.  The Hon. Rita Allison made the presentation.  It was a great day for Republican Women.
